Its just a random conversation....a part of this series  Post #3

It was a warm evening after a hot and hectic day, they took a stroll down the winding road trying to figure out things between themselves, trying to talk but as usual none took the initiative and were silently walking, when she suddenly broke the silence....

You know at times you feel you had someone in your life to lean on maybe emotional support, to love and to cherish but then other times I feel this all is too clichéd and you just can't expect these things...they are just like an illusion.

He thought for a while before replying, Some people do get it, don’t they?? Apart from that fact despite the many differences there is one thing that’s common between us…

And what could that be, she retorted back almost instantly?

He was again dumbfounded at the intensity with which she was taking things forward gazing towards the sky he spoke in a neutral tone, No matter how much we carve for love…no matter how much we carve for that rare illusion, but the storm raging within ourselves never seems to cease and we continue to shower our feelings to the people we love and at times it crosses it limits and if we didn’t have anything in common do you think today you and me would have been here together?

This time round she took time to process all that he had said, Hmm…yes there is a bit similarity but yet the gap between us is too much as in the emotional and egoistic bridge. You can be too egoistic and I more on the emotional front and to bridge this gap you should be too compromising and I should give more space then necessary but then is it possible as none is ready to sacrifice after all one is calculative while the other is deceptive though  having our own sets of inhibitions!

He smiled genuinely taking her hand in his and continued walking in silence after all, silence is what they best understood in each other.

  18. I can soooo connect to this...

Silence is more that enough to convey the love that one has for another.
you just have to let the eyes speak...
    Beautifully written ;)

  19. Silence does help ease things when at peace. Sometimes, it is the silence of a beloved that is heart breaking.

Yet, the post was peacefully happy. They both understood each other.

  20. @ Blood Is Red: Awe you here..you really show up at the most unexpected times when I've feel she'll not come by only :)

Yeah at times silence does convey that the words would have failed too but then again it should be used at the right time, a little here and there and it all goes haywire doesn't it ??

    Glad you liked it!

  21. @ Blasphemous Aesthete: Yeap, silence can be cathartic at times but then other times it can kill and shred you into pieces esp when its by someone close.

But then I chose to ignore the harshness of it and bask in its bliss, though I'm a chatterbox I adore silence at times like these :)

    Glad you liked it Anshul!

That is really sweet!!Opposite definitely attracts!!
I like the little conversation...a little touch of fun...an emotional bonding they share...and that night was so well expressed...infact i felt like hearing the husking voice of that boy...yo babi..got those goosebumps!!

hence I love such mushy stories!!!Each and every word was so clearly depicting the story of emotions! Yet I hv a complaint! why so small post...it jst started n love disappeared. I wanted to read more..okay got it...this was teh trailor of the beginning of the love in silence..i want it to turn more craving...U knw wht i mean..Yeah...I will be looking forward to next past for sure!! Im already following u still will wait for ur link on my wall..hheehe You definitely have a talent to turn story into poetry...& I simple adore that fact! U sure need to write & share more often!!! I mean it will all my heart!!! Kasam Se!

    Love yeah always..

  23. @ Rachana: Oh! my that was too long of a comment must say ;)

Yeah opposites attract and then they attack! so eventually you just can't bond with someone whose diametrically opposite you, there lies a similarity between the two sometimes visible and sometimes hidden :)

Glad you liked it..and I hope you like others as well dear!
