True Joy !!

SO INNOCENT..............

Children the word itself is so delightful that words such as altruistic, naive, loving, gentle come to our mind. The best years of one's life are the childhood days; but then this is not always true as pangs and sufferings of some also surround us.

Words cannot describe the immense pain that several undergo ...even though they might not tell about their grief but their heart tells so eyes are the windows to ones heart. If you can read a persons eyes, you can understand the person and his feelings. But despite preaching all this among our fellow beings how many of us really follow this practically and understand it's true meaning? Well very few! The earth is burdened yes, burdened with a plethora of people who live for just themselves and don't see others... their needs or their sufferings, these are the people who should come out of their shells and look what life really is ! Life is not only about enjoying the bounties and earning a hefty amount it's about understanding one another and spreading love and bringing joy and happiness in others life.

Ask an orphan who never saw his parents, whatever be the reason his feelings and sufferings remain same..they are waiting for someone; someone to call their own. The ecstasy of a child being adopted is far more than we can imagine! Not even a hefty salary can compare to the joy and yet, there are so many people who dread; dread to adopt a child .. because they fear.. fear this society, the people and others who might raise voices against them…and then there are who wish for their biological child no its not wrong to expect that but then many people are forced into second marriages just for the sake of their "khandan ka waris" as they say (esp. in-laws you can say) this is not just fiction but the harsh reality esp in India and the sub-continent ! And then there are who treat such kids badly and abuse them just coz they are orphans or not your real kid, better give the child for adoption rather than making him/her suffer, you are not only hurting the child but indirectly committing  a sin in the eyes of god .

The holy scriptures emphasis the “ An orphan b treated gently with love n respect ”  but despite this fact there are many who treat an orphan badly and see them as sinners wherein they themselves are doing a sin…There are very less people who don’t do like this and give such kids their due right..

"Hope all people understand this coz if, they do so the world of such a child will surely light up & it will b visible and then surely love, good will and harmony will prevail in this world and maybe then we will realize what true joys are!"

P.S:  Off lately I'm thinking a lot more like over analyzing and that is really bad coz eventually it'll hurt me, so I thought of refraining from writing poems or write ups that target the emotions and all at the moment...so comes out this neutral post!

  1. Wow!!......Really loved this post.....Seen very nice points over here.....
    Yes...:'(
We fear the society and questions raised by others...
The bitter fact is....We just think what will others think about us!...And we just don't listen to our heart sometimes...:(

If we want the society to change....First of all we should change ourselves...:)

Hope there will be no orphan who feels his/her life is a curse..:(

  3. Neutral? No. But an issue highlighted well. Maybe the people targeted here should take time to read this and think over again.
But then, I am highly skeptic, that if their hearts did not melt when they saw those innocent eyes, would this piece move them?

    Nice post.

    Cheers,

  4. @ Valli: Yup, what you said was true..." To change the society we must change ourselves first."

My motive for this post was not completely adoption but even the fact that there are so many kids who are orphans and they are in the care of their relatives and those people treat them so badly and that is not right...they shouldn't do so and if they feel they are a burden then better give the child in adoption !

Seriously hope that no child feels so, but that is an over rated expression coz there are those who do feel no matter what coz of certain people.

Thanks for the read and glad you liked it !

  6. @ Blasphemous Aesthete: Yeah Anshul it is a post that should be highlighted but same question, does it matter if its neutral or highlighted coz the people its for are not gonna give a damn to it !

I sometimes really feel how could people you know treat such kids so badly n say that they are sinners or that their blood is not pure(Indian mentality to be precise) why can't people move ahead ??

You use latest gadgets watch movies, support others but then when it comes to you..you back off, that is hypocrisy in my eyes...

You never know sometimes certain things do change the perception, you can't lose hope and even if one person's views are changed its worth it..isn't it ?

    Thanks for the read.

  7. Yes..i so agree with you .. 'they might not tell about their grief but their heart tells so eyes are the windows to ones heart.'
EYES really speak much more than the mouth will ever do !

  8. i do agree with you..most of the time orphans are so lil to understand that how people are treating them. when they become matured then only they come to know about the real world and their rights. but upto that time it becomes too late. ANd at that time mostly orphans are indulged in some non ethical works.

  10. Hi first time here.came here through Mak's blog.A thoughtful post .Yes ,the orphan kids too deserve the love an warmth the other kids get and it's a sad but true fact that most of us consider it as a stigma to even speak or shoe their love to them.i appreciate the hope foundation for giving these kids a well desired ambiance and shelter for living.

  11. It is very thoughtful of you, dear! Those innocent souls searching for love, wanting to hold them dearly...

Refraining from adopting a child, is a generalized thinking... There are among us who has different thoughts, but sadly very few!

  16. @ some unspoken words: Yes many do end up doing such things if they are abandoned and it ain't really their fault! More so, some end up being neglected and recoil in their own shell.

  17. @ raji: Yes, its good to know there are foundations that help such kids...but then it still is in small number it needs more help and more people to make it what it should be....in fact all this is more prominent in the metros and still progress has to be made so that reaches the rural population too...

Thanks for the comment and Welcome to my blog !

  18. @ Beyond Horizon: Your right Poonam coz of the obsolete mindset that some people have they shun the innocent kids and some fear the society, but what irks me more is ill treating the kid...it's alright if people don't adopt but then taking a kid in their care and then not treating them well is too bad.

Thanks a lot for the comment dear...
