This time round I'm feeling like letting out my poetic side in Urdu come out...so here are some shayri's by me...
Please give me your honest reviews if at all you like them, many people don't like work written in Urdu....Hope it turns out to be false :)
These are three different shayri's written during different phases of my life and all of them signify a lot to me....not mere work but something much more than that !

Tod k vaade tum yun gayee,
Jazbaaton ko bhi saath le gayee,
Na aah nikli, na ek aasu baha;
Aisi tum tanhayee de gayee.....
---***---
Uss chahat ko hum chahat ka naam kaise de...??...
Jisse hum chahkar bhi chaah nahi sakte...
---***---
Tanha hai lekin iss tanhayee mein bhi tera saath hai,
Sitaaron se jagmagati yeh kaali raat hai,
Na manzil hai na thekana ai humsafar...
Lekin iss matlabi duniya mein phir bhi tumhara saath hai.

Amazing fatima.. Honest words, and no way i do like urdu hindi poetry.. Even used to write years ago.. Nowadays don't have grip over language much, maybe coz haven't been reading much nowadays. Great work, do write more alike this and don't be shy to put it up.

ReplyDeletei liked the first one, its really nice...

pehli aur doosri shayari behad achhi hai,
ReplyDeleteteesri shayari mein 'tera saath hai' do baar ane se wo baat nahi rahi.
This was all about the honest review, nice post nevertheless.
Cheers,
Blasphemous Aesthete
@ Blasphemous Aesthete: For me too the first and second have higher precision over third..actually second is more closer to me...
ReplyDeleteI tried to put something else instead of "tera saath hai" yet I couldn't find anything appropriate at that time and till today hence, that line!
Glad you liked them and thanks for the honest review..that's what matters in the end!

Fatima
