Fantasy

The pain has frozen,

And the tears barely fall...

Feel to be engulfed in your embrace,

And be cocooned in your arms.

Wish life was a fairy tale,

With love conquering all...

Where the prince charming kissed,

And all was well after all.

But life is a harsh reality,

Each step you walk, a sacrifice awaits...

Why you and me, I ask??

Ah! God doesn't answer just a smiling face.

Lost in the Oblivion !

You walk a lonely road,

The one that seems austere,

And then realization strikes,

Your lost and let out a sigh.

There is something missing,

As only questions are hovering,

And you don't know why?

Yet you walk an extra mile.

You pass several doors,

And cross many lanes,

In search of a lone being,

But you've reached nowhere.

You wait, wait until a long time,

To surmount your grief,

You trudge and tread,

Until you have no verve left.

As the sun finally sets,

And the light slowly ebbs,

A narrow path with spiral ways,

Leads you to a bleak and far off place.

Distressed Soul

Word are muffled and tears are choked,

And a starry silence engulfs,

I try to run and escape en route,

But the more I try, the more lost I become.

Smile is not a facade and pain is not feign,
And my soul languishes in love,
I try to seek solace and calm,
But the more I try, the more ruffled I become.

Water seamlessly pours and brings mirth,
And I'm left in a cloud of steam,
I try to clear the mess and see,
But the more I try, the more shroud I become. 

Days roll by and seasons change,
And I'm left alone to reflect,
I try to cry and break the spell,
But the more I try, the more staunch I become.
